Chapter Twenty-three
Please reread the first full paragraph on page 280. Based on context, what do you think ambivalence means?
I think that from context it means being proud because she was showing how proud she was to recive the ribbon. And in a way I think Sebastian was right because she was showing oit off.
I thik it means the action of being boastful.
