Chapter Twenty-one

Why does Harry think Callie's question about becoming a scientist is "so far-fetched"?

  1. I think that it is because she is a pretty, educated girl that he thinks can do better things with her life.

  2. I think Harry thinks this because she does not seem like the kind of girl to Harry that would run off and be a scientist and not get married.

  3. He said in the book that he had never heard of a girl scientist. And I think that is part of the reason but I think that the other part is that he thinks that she will get married and back then if you are married you can't have a carrer. You are a house wife.

  4. I think that it is because Harry thinks that being a scientist would be a waste of her time and that Calpurnia is better than that and can get a good job and get paid good money.

  5. I agree with Tyler because she could be a much more paid girl and she could do more things with her life.
