Even beyond the vocabulary I give you to prepare you for reading each chapter, this book is pretty tough, and there are lots more challenging words than are even on your lists. How are you handling this? How do you think you're doing with this story, considering all the unfamiliar words?
There are no other questions for chapter six.
I haven't really seen any more unfamiliar words than the ones that are already on the list and I also know some of the words on the list.
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen any hard words except for the ones on the lists the you gave us.
ReplyDeleteI really like the book so far and I think that it is the perfect book rating on how challenging it is and how interesting it is to the reader. The vocabulary is not a problem for me.
ReplyDeleteI have not yet read any words besides the ones that you put on your lists that I haven't known (knock on wood).
ReplyDeleteI agree with Shaina. I think this book was a good choice and the book is going to get better as we keep reading.
ReplyDeleteI also think that the book will get more interesting as we read more into the book and as Calpurnia gets older and discovers more bugs and animals.
